Guest guest
I use the Mozzarella, Cheddar and Pizza Cheezes that are shredded. It's the best we have found. Tami Has anyone tried anything from this company? I got the Kids With Food Allergies newsletter and there was a section that stated that Angelfood ministries, website http://www.angelfoodministries.com/<http://www.angelfoodministries.com/> now has an allergen free menu option and they used foods from AllergyFree Foods, website http://allergyfreefoods.com/order-products.asp<http://allergyfreefoods.com/order\ -products.asp> . This is so exciting if this stuff is good this will save a bunch of money and make this whole diet thing a little easier. The company that makes the food also has other stuff not in the angelfood menu option for sale on their website. They actually have cheese alternative and premade pizza that is gfcfsf. It is not vegan because it contains beef protein, but we don't react to beef. I want to try this, but am hesitant to pay for shipping and then it be nasty. Has anyone tried this stuff? The prices look pretty reasonable, but not sure about the shipping costs. -Undiagnosed Asperger's Syndrome Stay at home mom to 3, Wife to -6-6-02-Autism Spectrum, the light of my life Katy-11-19-03-undiagnosed genetic syndrome that includes cleft palate-Pierre Robin Sequence, scoliosis, heart defects, short stature, low muscle tone, developmental delay, oral defensiveness, g tube fed part time-working on oral feeding, slightly dysmorphic features, and my joy J.D-no issues except he is totally in love with mommy, cutest baby in the world visit my blog http://busiestmommyinamerica.blogspot.com<http://busiestmommyinamerica.blogspot.\ com/> " If you think my hands are full, you should see my heart! Guest guest
Where do you get it? Do you buy online or at a store? Maybe I will ask my healthfood store to carry it? -Undiagnosed Asperger's Syndrome Stay at home mom to 3, Wife to -6-6-02-Autism Spectrum, the light of my life Katy-11-19-03-undiagnosed genetic syndrome that includes cleft palate-Pierre Robin Sequence, scoliosis, heart defects, short stature, low muscle tone, developmental delay, oral defensiveness, g tube fed part time-working on oral feeding, slightly dysmorphic features, and my joy J.D-no issues except he is totally in love with mommy, cutest baby in the world visit my blog http://busiestmommyinamerica.blogspot.com " If you think my hands are full, you should see my heart! Guest guest
I buy it online. kind of pricey that way with shipping and handling but worth it. that would be great if you could get your healthfood store to carry it. Guest guest
I checked out Vegan allergy free choc cake. For $50, NO WAY!!!!! I was a member of Kids with Food Allergies for years on before they did their new web site. All my favorite recipes that I use are from the wonderful people over there. Some would like products that I made and we didn't like, like buck wheat pancakes, sorry, not edible by my pallet. But if you are trying to cook healthy, going from scratch is the only way. Much cheaper, healthier and better than anything I've ever boughten. JMO. Tammy Has anyone tried anything from this company? Guest guest
Yeah, but having the children that I do I need a break from making everything from scratch. I have my hands full, just read my signature. The angelfood menu box is $25 for 5 lbs of allergy free convenience food that happens to be pretty healthy. When I make chicken nuggets its takes at least 35 minutes and some nights I just don't have 35 minutes when I am taking care of 5 kids. I baby sit 2 kids and then my 3. I also got the fresh fruit and veggie box from angelfood which will nicely complement the premade food. It is not like we have chicken nuggets and french fries every night, just occasionally when my husband works late and can't be there to watch the kids while I cook. I do make lots of things by scratch and love the KFA database, but on occasion I need a quick heat and eat meal for my family that is not totally icky nutritionally and I think this will fit the bill. I ordered some of their cheese alternative today, this is the first gfcfsf cheese I have found besides homemade (which also is time consuming and takes some getting used to).
