Dr. < http://www.dr-gonzalez.com >, I understand has the porcine pancreatic enzymes that he provides his patientsspecially made up in New Zealand to his specifications. I do not believe that this is available to the general public. According to< http://chondro.webjump.com/protocol.htm >, Dr. Dietmar Schildwaechter would prescribe Intenzyme Forte by Biotics Research Corporation (tel: 713-240-8010 biotics@... ) and did not hold of the German brand Wobe-Mugos.

Note to Carolyn Bormann:

Where would I find information on the "cultured enzymes" of which you made mention?

I heard from someone (whose information I trust) that Allergy Research's " Pork

Pancreas " is the enzyme product most similar to the one uses (and

another cancer practitioner whose opinion I respect recommended Allergy

Research's enzymes). Thus, my guess is that it's the best product available (for

cancer) aside from Kelley's enzymes, and probably much less expensive than

Kelley's. (Chymotrypsin is found mainly in pork pancreas)

<< Where do you buy these pancreatic enzymes? And, even if you don't have

cancer, shouldn't you take pancreatic enzymes anyway?>>

Many people believe so. I think it depends on the person.

> Or do you just take regular digestive enzymes bought anywhere?

Pancreatic and nonpancreatic digestive enzymes are available in health food

stores, and most of them are fine for people w/o cancer (and helpful for people

w/cancer). However, to obtain a strong cancer-healing effect, it's essential to

use the highest-quality enzymes, preferably pork-based enzymes w/large amounts

of chymotrypsin.

My 1st choices would be

1. Kelley's enzymes. I heard that Dews Research is part of Mucos? and

makes Kelley's enzymes?

www3.mailordercentral.com/roadtohealth/products.asp?dept=12

I heard they're very expensive.

2. Allergy Research Group's Pork Pancreas

(877-259-3393/800-545-9960/210-658-5562/bevweavtx@...) is economical and

superb.

Let me know if you'd like names of other good brands.

I recommend the Key Company, they DO NOT contain any Wheat, Corn, Rye or other

grains, or cereal fillers.

Does anyone know of a recommended Pancreatic Enzyme? I know there

are a lot of places that sell them but, as in anything else, I know

there are differences in quality. I would appreciate learning of

how to contact a source of excellent quality product.

Thanks,

Stan

Interesting, i do not have long term experience with RYGBP but did not expect

diarrhoea post RYGBP. is it a long limb?

I think pancreatic enzymes is worth a trial before re operation. I have used it

in my SBS patients.

I have a RNY pt who had surgery 3 yrs ago. She is experiencing chronic

diarrhea every time she eats. The surgeon is considering revision.

Would pancreatic enzymes benefit her at all to help with absorption?

thanks

My 8yo son sees Lucas at Thoughtful House. He has chronic constipation, but now

that he is dairy free and soy free, he goes once a day, as long as I keep

magnesium and Vitamin C in his daily supps. We have been using Trienza for the

last year, as he has done best with those. We tried many others, but never the

porcine based ones. He has a consistently bumpy, itchy back, even though I have

tried many different supplements, stopped everything but enzymes, etc. So I'm

curious if he has a problem with aspergillus, as most enzymes are based on that.

How do you trial pancreatic enzymes to see if the porcine based ones are right

for your child? Most are prescription.

I bought TwinLabs Pancreatin at Vitamin Shoppe, but it never says anywhere on it

that it is porcine based. Had my son muscle tested for them by our NAET guy,

and he said my son tested stronger for those than Trienza.

He also has PANDAS, OCD, anxiety. And a serious weight problem. Three years

ago, he suddenly put on 25 lbs in a short time, distended belly, bloating, gas.

Trienza helps, but that weight just sits there. 8 years old and 92 lbs. Not a

junkfood or sweet eater. No fruit juice. Thyroid tests " normal " .

Anyone have experience in this arena? I would greatly value any input.

Deana K.
