Breaking apart Enzyme capsules

I break apart my son's enzymes capsules and sprinkle them on his food. He's 2.5

and cannot swallow them. I'm worried about both of us inhaling them. There is a

warning about that.

Does anyone have alternate suggestions for taking them? Is there such a thing as

liquid enzymes?
