Here is the email I just received, I guess the misinformation came

from the Shelf stable boxes vs the cardboard box in the dairy section.

Good Morning -

Thank you for contacting Blue Diamond Growers regarding your concerns

pertaining to our Almond Breeze product. It is unfortunate that so

much misinformation is out there and in these blogs all across the

internet. We are happy that you took the initiative to contact us

regarding this rather than just walk away from our product.

The truth is this: Almond Breeze contains absolutely no aluminum

element or aluminum ion at all.

The shelf-stable product is an aseptic carton and the construction

includes a very thin layer of aluminum foil embedded between

paperboard and polyethylene layers. This aluminum foil is used as a

microbiological barrier to prevent the product from spoil.

Between the product and the aluminum foil, there are two layers of

inner sealings that absolutely prevents the product from coming into

direct contact with the aluminum foil.

If there are others in your blogs that would like clarification on

this or any other of our products, please feel free to have them

contact me directly.

If I can be of further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact

me, and thank you again for taking the time to contact Blue Diamond.
