Guest guest
Alisa, My DAN doctor suggested I give my 3.5 year old daughter a new treatment called KIB500 http://www.kib500.com/. It's a somewhat revolutionary product that claims to wipe out viruses and yeast immediately. The beauty of it, it requires no more than two kits taken over two days and tastes like water. KIB500 was developed in the UK. They shipped it to me in Israel within one week. I gave my daughter the two rounds they suggested only yesterday and the day before and have not yet shared my experience with the forum because I am waiting to see if her major self-stimming behavior, bloated stomach and frequent night wakings improve. I will also do stool tests again in the next month or two to check results. There isn't a huge amount of info about them on the web but I emailed a woman there called carol.white@.... Good luck and I will keep you posted.  ________________________________ From: Alisa Ackerman <clarkalisa@...> biomedheads ; ; abmd ; beyondgfcf ; taca-usa ; autism treatment ; RecoveryFromAutism Sent: Thu, July 29, 2010 12:56:33 AM Subject: PANDAS help! Biofilm or Antibiotics???  Hi all, I posted recently about a sudden onset of OCD behavior, nightmares and sleep disturbance, emotional outbreaks, etc. Some of you smart folks said it sounded like PANDAS and after consulting w/ DAN, looks like you are right! (no, we haven't tested yet, we will) Jumping into trying to learn all I can. Scary stuff. Particularly because we are seizure prone and I feel like I'm also seeing signs of absence seizures -- anybody know if there's a strong connection? Would REALLY APPRECIATE any words of wisdom re. treatment choices. Our DAN is recommending an aggressive biofilm protocol as it can eventually kill it off and will also help w/ yeast. We've been doing a much milder version of this biofilm for several years with good results. (see below - I listed full details in case it is helpful to any of you too!) Choice A/ Low dose antibiotics: He is allergic to penecillin AND all sulfa based drugs, so that rules a lot out. Are there any antibiotics anybody knows of that are GOOD for STREP and also not too hard on the tummy? (yeast is a problem here, too) Choice B/ Increased/aggressive biofilm protocol - 2 x a day:   1- SPS, PRX, Lumbrokinase, Candex (1 hour after food)   2- Antiviral botanicals and herbs (w/ a little food) :    Myrhh    Skullcap    Biocidin    Cats Claw    Oregon Grape    Argentyn    CoQ10    Cell Food    Dandelion Root    Grapefruit Seed Extract    Boswellia    Quercetin    Curcumin    Olive Leaf Extract    Imu-Max    Argentyn    Pau D'Arco    D Hist    Intestinal    Paracae Forte    Sinutrol    Golden Seal    Garlic       Alternate these 7**    Plan Tannins **    Uva Ursi**    Tricyclene**    Monolaurin**    Elderberry**    Caprillic Acid**    Neem**      3- Mop it up with 2 Citrus Pectin & 1 Bicarb / or 2 Activated Charcoal (1 hour after above) THANKS FOR ANY INPUT!!!! Guest guest
My daughter had pandas. It went away all by itself. If you have sudden onset whole body twitching writhing speech shouting etc which you have never had before then it is just like us and it went away by itself. Google Sydenhams Chorea for a good description. I was terrified and weeping, it seemed like the end of our lives. Came over night. Came for a week and went away. Came for a fortnight and went away. Went away for six months and came back briefly. Went away for a year and came back briefly. Went away. No treatment whatsoever. I'm always concerned that heavy/aggressive treatments produce changes and problems in themselves that stop you from seeing what is happening with the underlying situation. just my 2 cents Sally Alisa Ackerman wrote: > Hi all, > > I posted recently about a sudden onset of OCD behavior, nightmares and sleep disturbance, emotional outbreaks, etc. > > Some of you smart folks said it sounded like PANDAS and after consulting w/ DAN, looks like you are right! Guest guest
we just ordered some supplements from maxamlabs to go after strep. BSAID is supposed to go after latent residual viruses. We ordered bioguard for candida did you say oil of oregano for candida and olive leaf extract for strep? Lin
Guest guest
Alisa, Which anti-viral herbs and botanicals did you use? I saw the list of things you were using...but was unsure if it was part of the days supps or the antiviral things you were using. Thanks Ronni > > Hi all, > > I posted recently about a sudden onset of OCD behavior, nightmares and sleep disturbance, emotional outbreaks, etc. > > Some of you smart folks said it sounded like PANDAS and after consulting w/ DAN, looks like you are right!
