Guest guest
I just learned by reading Dr. Buckley's book that Lamictal depresses folate metabolism? This seems like it would be a problem for most of our kids. She recommended the use of CerefolinNAC to compensate. Has anyone used this? Guest guest
Most anticonvulsants interrupt the folate cycle. My D uses lamictal. I compensate for this by increasing the folacal and 5-methyfolate. I am reluctant to give the NAC as I do not know cysteine levels and do not want to overload the suphate cycle. > > I just learned by reading Dr. Buckley's book that Lamictal depresses > folate metabolism?
