Subject: safe sandwich bags

This might be a little off topic, but I have a friend who makes cloth sandwich

bags and lines them with nylon. Are there any thoughts as to if this is safe?

What would be the best liner material?

I wrap everything in waxed paper or parchment paper, then you don't have to

worry so much about the food being fresh or stale and they are both pretty

" clean "

That's what we do currently. I just feel bad using it and then throwing it away

everyday. My friend is just going to make them from the plain organic cotton

(dyeless). Then for the messy stuff like berries we will use our stainless steel

containers.
