Guest guest
Thanks for all the great information! I will start with small amounts of raw milk (1/2 c every other day), if it doesn't work, I will make the raw milk yogurt at home. Does anyone know if nasal congestion and stuffiness from dairy is caused by Lactose or Casein intolerance? No idea about A1 and A2 forms of Casein. Thanks for opening that door so I can find out more info about testing. Warm regards, Anjana > > > > > Hello group-members, > > > > > > I was wondering if anyone has tried using raw milk and seen > > > improvements from regular pasteurized milk. Guest guest
I think it's the casein for us too. Stuffy nose and congestion are more of " allergy " symptoms, and allergies are to proteins (casein is a protein, lactose is a sugar). It's my impression that lactose intolerance is more likely to show as digestive problems (because you aren't digesting the sugar), such as bloating, diarrhea, gas, cramps, etc. HTH, -Sierra http://grainfreefoodie.blogspot.com/ > > casein at least for me > > -Undiagnosed Asperger's Syndrome > Stay at home mom to 3, Wife to > -6-6-02-Autism Spectrum, the light of my life > Katy-11-19-03-undiagnosed genetic syndrome that includes cleft palate-Pierre Robin Sequence, scoliosis, heart defects, short stature, low muscle tone, developmental delay, oral defensiveness, g tube fed part time-working on oral feeding, slightly dysmorphic features, and my joy > J.D-no issues except he is totally in love with mommy, cutest baby in the world > visit my blog http://busiestmommyinamerica.blogspot.com > " If you think my hands are full, you should see my heart!
