Scabs in ear and scratching/bleeding below ears

Hi All,

We recently started mHBOT with our son who is nearly 3yrs old. He is on SCD and

low oxalate diets (very restricted) has growth delays and has had major yeast

issues. He has been doing pretty well lately with Enhansa to reduce yeast and

inflammation and we started HBOT about 2 weeks ago.

After a couple rounds of HBOT last week he got a few strange scabs inside his

ears. He has had these off and on in the past but they were very small and

barely noticeable. This time they are pretty big. Also, he has been scratching

his cheeks just below his ears that he has pretty bad scratches with some

bleeding. We have not really seen anything like this before. Has anyone else

seen this?

Could the scabs be some kind of yeast issue? Or could it be parasites? Other

than that we are pleased with his energy level and interaction lately and his

yeast symptoms seem to be pretty well under control.

Any ideas?
