Hi All,

Our son (nearly 3) has started to rub his face on the carpet again after not

doing this at all for over 1 year. Many of his other symptoms have ramped up at

the same time all of a sudden. We are on low oxalate diet and SCD + GFCF.

We recently stopped most of his supplements for a short time to start again one

at a time. We are using Enhansa for yeast and just finished a round of

diflucan. We also added liver life about two weeks ago.

Does anyone know what causes the stim like rubbing face on carpets and other

things? Is it yeast, bacteria, parasites?

Thanks,

I have read several messages in the past few weeks that some kids are doing very

poorly with Enhansa. You might try dropping that one, and use something else

for yeast, see if that helps.

Have him checked for parasites parasites (like rubbing the nose is another quite

similar symptom). If it's worse by full moon and if he has an itcky anus or

gets difficulties to sleep or wakes up it's another indication.

Try some garlic sup n the meantime, if he can handle sulfur.

Good luck

Other option is allergy of course...pay attention at what time he does it.

I have read somewhere that rubbing face on carpet could be from mold. Are there

any sources, even small traces could cause a reaction...
