Hi ,

Last year, following the consult of my DAN, I did a stool analysis

for parasites with Genova Diagnostics in the UK and Matthias had 2

parasites, blastocytis hominis and dientamoeba fragilis, this test

also mentionned if you have enough good bacteria to have an healthy

gut condition.

My doctor recommended me a drug Macmiror which seemed to help the

first days but the effect just faded away on the fifth day. So I

started to treat him myself with supplements like monolaurin, OLE,

GSE. I saw improvement on monolaurin and GSE not OLE although he is

also a viral kid. I had to stop with GSE because my DAN stated it

blocks phase 1 detox of the liver. Now I am treating him with other

viral supplements and I am still getting more progress. I did not

retest his parasites because I want to spent some money on other

tests for Matthias that seem to be important right now.

At my house, for two of my kids, it meant yeast overgrowth. For one

of my kids, it meant mineral deficiency.

I take diatomaceous earth. I don't test, but I guess if I had the money I

would, since it wouldn't hurt. (Except I have heard a lot people say their

parasite tests came back negative when there were parasites visible in the

stool.)

Anyway, I went to the farm-n-ranch store and bought a 50 pound >unopened<

bag of food grade diatomaceous earth. I give it to myself, my dog and my cat

once a week, after an initial dosing everyday for a couple weeks when we

first started. If I have any symptoms or signs I go back on every day for a

week. I use it in the garden too and around anything I want to keep insects

out of, like the cats dish, which sits outside, and the threshold to the

garage.

I just mix it in water and drink it, but for a kid, I would probably stir it

into some yogurt or applesauce or pudding. Maybe peanutbutter?

Parasites??? How do I test for that? Is there a treatment that could help?

Thanks for your input.
