Why stop LDN while taking pain meds?

Can anyone explain why we have to stop LDN when on pain meds? I had

surgery and my doctor started me on a weaning schedule prior to the

surgery and I can't start back on the LDN until I'm off the pain meds.

My doctor said the pain meds would not work while on LDN. Can you give

me anymore reasons or can anyone confirm this?

Taking LDN for my chronic daily headaches. Thanks for any responses.
