Guest guest
Hi there everyone, My 18 month old has completely regressed since Christmas losing what few words he had and some skills ie.pointing, clapping, waving. They think he has mitocondrial disease that manifests itself with autistic behaviour. Anyone out there with experiance or knowledge on this? My 3 year old had almost the same thing happen but his test results are quite different. I'm not sure what to think and it will be 2 weeks before we get the test results back. Any and all info would be helpful. I agree - good luck to all of us!There is a website called enzymestuff.com, where you can find a lot of information about enzymes and dosing. I am using pills, so the dosing is different.ViolaNadja <opal29_us@...> wrote:Thank you all for your replies. It helps alot. I was told by a friend, that it usually takes a few weeks. He doesn't have a problem with fruits or anything, he's been eating those with no problem. He's only on dairy free right now. He drinks almond milk and soy ice cream. I thought we were supposed to give the enzymes everytime they eat? I give him a 1/4 tsp of both, plus before bed about an 1/8 tsp of probiotics. I just was referred to do enzymes from a friend and read the book, well skimmed through. My son is also on break, he's 4. Good luck to all of us, i thinkNadjaviola newman <viola062003@...> wrote: I can't offer you help, because we just started about a week and a half ago, but we are having similiar issues and behaviors with my son. One minute he seems so much better, happier and then wow, he starts getting aggressive, yelling, upset, tantroming. He also has broken out with sores in his mouth that look like cancer sores. His lips were really dry and peeling a nd even bleeding a little bit. We started Digest enzymes, which are similar but milder than zyme prime and we started the peptizyde in the last week too - so I am curious to see some of the responses. It might be a thing where we have to stick it out and the behavior eases up? I thought maybe backing down the dose a bit would help, but my dh thinks we should just push through, if it'll make it quicker. our son is on break, so a good time to get over it!It's tough when you see some negatives - any advise from anyone else for us newbies to the enzymes?Good luck - hope you get some good suggestions.Violaopal29_us <opal29_us@...> wrote:Hello,My son starting taking peptizyde and Zyme Prime. Besides the increasein hyperactivity, he has broken out on his chest a little and some onhis back. It reminds me of chicken pox. He's been scratching alot too.The stimming went from very little to ALOT! He screams alot, i thinkhe does it just to hear himself. I thought taking this was supposed tohelp and now i'm nervous about what i've started. I'm also giving himSpectrum complete powder(vitamins) and today i started givin himcalcium. Plus behind his right ear is red. He's also gotten pink eyeand he's had allergies before, BUT never this BAD! Just a littlescared and hoping someone can maybe help with some advice.
