Guest guest
I might be slightly deficient in lipase enzyme that breaks down fat. I have little fat deposits that look like whiteheads on my forehead and cheekbones that never go away (they're not acne), and I have had high cholesterol. I don't have indigestion all the time - just discomfort for several hous after I eat foods that are too greasy. Does anyone know if the lipase enzyme will cause weight gain or loss? I really don't need to gain any weight but would like to see if my symptoms improve by taking enzymes. I also eat constanty even when not hungry, and I read that this could be due to enzyme deficiency. Also, DH has had heartburn for quite a while and is on Prilosec. He tried enzymes (Digest Gold and Glutenease), but they're not helping. I just read that it could take a few months. Has anyone had success? He's back on Prilosec but is thinking about continuing to take enzymes for a few months and quit Prilosec again. TIA!
