An international presenter, Ms. Umstead, BCBA, has presented trainings or

consultations to a variety of institutions and individuals including Action for

Autism in Delhi, families, teachers (general, special, special area),

paraprofessionals, administration, related service personnel, child study

members, camp counselors, and bus drivers She has worked with students and staff

from Eden Institute, Princeton Child Development Institute, s Development

Disabilities Center, and other agencies She has a working knowledge of American

Sign Language (ASL) and is well versed in the use of augmentative communication

devices. She has designed and supervised home programs, conducted numerous

Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA), written classroom and individual behavior

intervention plans, and conducted social skills training and groups.
