Guest guest
I to a mold infested home in Naples Florida. First you have to get a good toxologist to do the testing. Then you have to find a good Dr. I ave dealt with Dr. Lipsey. He can get you in the right direction. What part of Florida are you from? Feel free to write back to me at my email address. I have been there and done that, and know just what you are experiencing. ROSE MARY
Guest guest
Thank you for the response! We live in Lakeland, Florida (between Orlando and Tampa). I'm sorry to hear that you have gone through this...although it helps to hear from someone who has.We seem to be in the limbo stage of this ordeal, waiting to find out if the house will clear and when we can get our belongings back. There is so much conflicting information about mold..I am a bit confused!! We have been told three different reponses to one question...Are our belongings contaminated and do we get them back?....One expert says all we have to do is Hepa Vac everything and it will be fine, the second says it is contaminated if it is porous and the third says Yes, it is contaminated and we should not want it back! We have recently hired an attorney to help get answers to our questions..hopefully he will clear up some of the confusion. Any "been there, done that" advice would be greatly appreciated! Guest guest
Our house was diagnosed with a toxic black mold called trichoderma. No one knew any information on this type of mold because it is so rare. I called the CDC to get some information on it as well, they weren't extremely helpful, but they did give me some information. You can try them, and you State Health Department. ----- Original Message ----- From: bfwolcott Sent: Wednesday, January 16, 2002 3:10 PM Subject: [] Sick home in Florida My family of four has been living at the Sheraton for over a month. Guest guest
been there and had all of that since '97! burn it all that can't be put in the washer on hot and heavy duty for at least 10 cycles. Anything less will reexpose you. If you are already "toxed" get on cholostyramine from chronicneurotoxins.com. It's the only thing that has worked for us regarding detox so far!
