Guest guest
sounds like you are confusing proteases with probiotics??? I believe all yeast fighters have to have a certain amount of proteases in them to help gobble up the yeast. You should give enzymes and probiotics at different times. Unless the enzyme is for digestion, it should be given on an empty stomach. My son's probiotic is given with food. > > > Hi all, > > > > I was reading the online information about Candex (from their web-site) and it says that 'protease enzymes may compromise the health of probiotics, which are the friendly flora that are essential for good intestinal health.' > > That confuses me because I read on a great web-site EnzymeStuff.com: > > 'The strategy of using the yeast fighting enzymes is to decompose or break down the yeast coverings so the yeast dies. ... Guest guest
Hi , I actually thought you couldn't take candidase and probiotics as well but I found this on the Enzymedica website www.enzymedica.com: Can I take Candidase and a probiotic? Yes. Probiotics manufacture enzymes for the body. Proteolytic enzymes (protease in Candidase) will only hydrolyze the 3 D's (Dead, Damaged or Does not belong) they will not interfere with colonization of probiotics. Also, if you were actually referring to mixing proteases with a product like Candidase, made to fight off yeast, many people have found this beneficial. Candidase even has Protease Therablend in it. It works by using the enzyme cellulase in breaking down the outer layer of the single-celled candida. The cellulase enzymes in the product digest this outer layer, and in turn the cell dies. When the dead cell releases its toxins, the protease enzymes in the product break them down. This way, no die-off reaction occurs because the toxins are not allowed to circulate through the body. I hope this helps! Feel free to ask if you have any other questions. I know how frustrating it can get reading so much information and still not understanding and feeling confused!
