Guest guest
Okay, I just pulled out my book Enzymes: & nbsp; Go with Your Gut found the Virastop protocol. & nbsp; I am getting ready to start this on my kids next week and just about panicked when you said 9-12 capsules 3 times per day and $1000 per month. & nbsp; & nbsp; In the book it says, " Start at two capsules per day between meals. & nbsp; If the two capsules are well tolerated, increase the dose slowly by adding in one or two capsules per day between meals until you get to around 15 - 20 capsules per day. & nbsp; You may not end up needing that many, but that is a target number to shoot for " Dana and Garrett, just turned 4, SCD 2 years Celiac, ASD, Speech and Motor Apraxia, sensory processing disorder From: & lt;jenn-miller@... & gt; Subject: Re: How long to take proteases for GI repair? Date: Monday, June 16, 2008, 8:41 PM I read in one of 's books that a " theraputic dose of proteases for GI repair is 9-12 caps taken 3x/day " . It's extremely expensive (about $1000/mo just for the virastop) so I'm trying to figure out how long my credit cards will last me. My daughter and I have a bad leaky gut/malabsorption problem and candida. We are treating it now with GSE, candidase, candex, virastop, and culturelle and it's working very, very well. My next concerns are healing our guts (hence the interest in theraputic proteases), fixing our methylation/ sulfation problems, fixing our nutrient deficiencies and eliminating our toxins. We're not on the autistic spectrum, but I'm very afraid that any child born to me anytime soon would be. So, I'm desperately seeking a DAN doctor to help us through these things. Anyone know of one in the MOnterey area? & gt; & gt; & gt; & gt; We are taking 5 virastop caps 3x/day between meals to help heal our & gt; & gt; guts. How long should I expect to keep this up? & gt; & gt; & gt; I never used Virastop to " clear out the gut " , so I don't know about & gt; that. Are you seeing any changes? & gt; & gt; Watch for yeast overgrowth. If the Virastop are helping eliminate & gt; viruses, it will tend to cause yeast overgrowth. & gt; & gt; Dana & gt;
