I didn't know what to put in the subject line, but what I am trying

to ask is how many felt these wonderful effects they're mentioning at

3mg? I don't seem to be having any and was wondering if maybe you

experienced them after getting up to 4.5mg.

Also, I am a bit confused. I know it is supposed to help produce

more endorphins and it is supposed to help regulate your immune

system. I know endorphins are supposed to be pain relieving. Any

with lots of pain relief from the ldn? I sure am looking fwd to

that! Does it matter what the pain is from? Mine is from various

problems, but may all be Lyme related. Currently, the worst is

tendinopathy in my L. shoulder and a focal tear. I have an appt.

with an ortho. surgeon 4/1.

How is it supposed to help with sleep? Is it possible that when it

disrupts the normal endorphin making cycle to have insomnia or worse

pain then? If so, I suppose eventually it will go away?

I know, too, that endorphins (at least beta-endorphins) are supposed

to help with moods. Is everybody or anybody that has experienced

depression,anxiety,or moodiness, experience improvement?

Sorry folks if I am repeating myself, I am just looking for hope. I

am at my worse ever and I need something to hope for. I realize I

have only been on it 12 days and of course, I am willing to give it

longer, it's just that I read so many having seemingly immediate

results and I was kind of hoping for the same.

Hi Jan,

To answer your questions, I’ve been on LDN for 16 weeks or so for rheumatoid arthritis (RA). I got my best relief up front at 3mg. When I went to 4.5 I thought I was ok at first, but then realized I was feeling dizzy, having some heart palpitations, and generally not feeling all that well. My inflammation got worse at 4.5 after it had gotten better at 3.0. I’ve reduced it back to 3.0 and the dizziness is gone, the inflammation is better, and the palpitations are fewer. I think the dosage is very individual. You may need to experiment for a while.

Yes, I do get pain relief from it. I used to need a pain reliever but I haven’t taken anything at all – not even Tylenol – since starting LDN. I still have some pain, but it’s manageable.

I had BIG sleep problems for several weeks and had to reduce to 1.5 for 2 weeks before moving back up. The sleeping part was rough for me. Now I’m fine.

As for mood, I really feel a difference. I didn’t realize how much irritation I was holding on to until I let it go. I feel much calmer and more centered since LDN. I’m less likely to blow up at things or even react quickly at all. That alone was worth the price of admission!

Not mentioned in your email, but worth noting, is that my seasonal allergies are barely noticeable this year. By now I would usually be sneezing my head off and dealing with sinus headaches, sinus infections etc. I live in San Diego and everything is blooming. I’ve barely had a sniffle.
