Yeast?

While I have decades of personal experiences with autism,I am still pretty much

a newbie with a lot of this biomed stuff.I have been taking probiotics and

enzymes for almost 2/3 of my life, about the time I was first diagnosed with

inflammatory bowel disease,(Nobody knew there was a connection between IBD and

autism at the time.) they were the only things that allowed me to have regular

BMs.Before this,I had all of the worst problems you could imagine with impacted

feces. The enzymes and probiotics never solved my bloating and ascites (?), which

have always been pretty obvious since I was born without any abdominal muscles.

Are they supposed to do away with the bloating and distended abdomen ?

I had always thought that if I took enzymes and probiotics, and ate little sugar

or refined carbs,I did not have to worry about yeast.I eat about a 90% carb free

diet, and very small amounts of food,I have no appetite. If is so,then why do I

have the  bloating and distended abdomen ? I still have terrible flares where I

know my bowels are so severely inflamed, that it is hard to pass stool, and during

this time,I pass excessive amounts of BMs that have no rational connection the

small amount of food I eat.

I don't see my DAN! as often as I would like,I guess this is a common

problem, but I am sure he is going to want to test for yeast the next time I see

him.

What is the basic stuff I ought to know about yeast in the gut as it relates to

autism and iBD ? And please try to keep the mercury out of it.
