Guest guest
Update: 2 mo. w/LDN – 30 yrs. w/Crohn's Hello all! This is my 2 month update: Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN) continues to KICK `da Crohn's / Colitis Bootie!! Yee Haw! Even though I continue to be " undisciplined " (poor choices – diet / alcohol) LDN is still working wonders for me! I am unable to tell you about weight loss/gain – (temporarily lost scale during remodeling of my bathroom.) IF there is a change – it is not significant. In the FIRST month of LDN I had an " intermittent " discomfort (inflammation that caused constant pain before LDN) at a " specific " 10 inches of my (lower left side) colon which was dulled by LDN and now (at in the SECOND month) appears to be completely gone. I continue to have diarrhea 2 – 3 times per day (directly related to poor choices – diet / alcohol) but I do NOT have the pain that I had before. I have had 2 days of mild " bloating " and gas (recently) which reminded me of " menstrual " symptoms – but I have not had a menstrual period since Nov. 2006 when menopausal symptoms began (I am 47 yrs old). I have occasional " crohns-ish " days that are mild. Other days I have completely forgotten that I have chronic illness! (Which does NOT indicate that I have a memory problem...I just feel pretty darn good! LOL!) My protocol: 4.5 mg Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN) B-12 injection BodyHealth Complete (multi-vitamin/supplement) DL PHENYLALANINE 500 MG (DLPA) I plan to start on Probiotics this weekend (Align) Wishing you all well! Thanks again for your support!
