Guest guest
Go to http://www.greatplainslaboratory.com/ You can order a test kit for free. You send in your payment along with the kit containing the specimen to be analyzed. We did this on the advise of our nutritionist & she helped us understand the test results. There are several different tests you can order & they will help you select the one you need. Wendie > > How can I get my child tested to see if he has yeast overgrowth? Guest guest
For yeast overgrowth, you can purchase live beneficial bacteria from your pharmacy.. It usually refrigerated and can be purchased over the counter. I have a form of colitis/crohns disease and this helps tremendously.. Gastros are very very slow to understand that yeast overgrowth is problematic. They are strictly book-knowledge individuals who didn't know how to diagnose me for over 10 years. > > How can I get my child tested to see if he has yeast overgrowth? Guest guest
Is it possible for a child(ren) to have yeast but not show in a test? We had our twins tested a few weeks ago. A two day sample collection for each. We tried to get it to the lab before they closed on a Saturday but missed by 10 minutes. I had been told to keep it in the fridge, it would last OK. Took it on a Monday morning with the dates & times, she said it was fine as long as refrigerated. (GROSS! I know! Trust me!) But both of their labs came back normal, which I was/am very surprised about. They have " classic " yeasty poop symptoms. Just wondering if there is another route we should go? Thanks! Guest guest
I haven't tried this yet, but plan to. http://www.1stcandidacure.com/candidatest.html It's a free and easy spit test but I'm not entirely sure it's reliable. Has anyone tried this and found it to be valid? Dana C. Yes, depending on what type of test and where the yeast is located. > But both of their labs came back normal, which I was/am very surprised about.
