dehydration is what was the cause here. for chills and ill feeling after

bowl movements....

as for gluten detox, I would definately let him play in tub with epsom

salts, and give magnesium. For us, this was both calming and helped get

rid of offending item.....HOpe others put their help in, so you have a few

choices.

bacteria? viruses?

My thought would be a very large or dry and hard or uncomfortable bm.  If the

rectum has to stretch too much it can cause an unpleasant sensation which could

also translate into discomfort and even chillls.

Got a strange one for you. Does anyone know what might cause one to get

the chills and feel really unpleasant after having a bowel movement? I'm at a

loss.

In other frustrating news, the flax we bought was contaminated with gluten, and

my son is really in bad shape. Poor kid. He's got so little attention span, he

can't even watch tv. He's into EVERYTHING and I'm going crazy.

No, definitely not hard or large or dry. This seems to happen most of the time,

and he's not prone to constipation at all.

You can use a magnesium cream...Kirkman makes one. Our Vitamin Shoppe doesn't

have it, and I haven't checked the herb shop yet. If you give him oral

magnesium, it should be magnesium glycinate and you have to give calcium with

it. I can totally relate to the going crazy thing. My two asd kids have been on

grape seed extract for 8 days, mega die off symptoms for 6 days. I almost had to

go hide under my bed in the fetal position :)

Come to think of it, I think I've seen a Cal Mag liquid. I don't know what kind

of magnesium it is though. I'll have to check next time I'm there. And I'll

check my supplement supplier too. Thanks!

Do you mean grapefruit seed? Or does grapeseed cause die off too? Gah. It's so

frustrating. The other asd kid, she's in a major fight with clostridium and the

die off has been EPIC. Thank GOD for charcoal - mind you, getting it into her is

a fight and a half, because by 45 minutes after the gut bug stuff, she's INSANE

with die off and refuses to take anything. *sigh*

Nope, it's grapeseed extract. The grapefruit seed extract caused them both major

belly pain. I got a liquid grapeseed extract at the vitamine shoppe for like $6.

It's a few drops in their drink and they can't even taste it...my pickiest

critic even takes it
