Guest guest
I pay an outside therapist to work with my son for 2 hours a week b/c that's all I can afford. I like that I can hear what's going on and be there for tips on what to do when she's not there. After the session, she goes over what she did with him and gives me " homework " for the week. Also, she uses his toys so I have them available to use with him when I work/play with him. I am trying to get the school to cover in-home ABA for 10-15 hours per week so that would be a lot of time to be away from home (in my opinion) he's only 3-1/ 2 and goes to Preschool for 1/2 days.
