Hi Fabricia,

Have you tried enzymes for yeast before? Enzymedica makes a product called

Candidase that many parents in this group are currently using. DeFelice's

website enzymestuff.com has an entire section on enzymes and yeast. Enzymedica's

Candidase is a product she recommends. If you would any information or samples

on this product, just let me know and I'll send it out to you. Please feel free

to ask me any questions.

suffering from OCD for about 2 years now. We had him on the gluten/casein free

diet for about 2 years when he was younger, but we didn't really see

improvements. Through testing it was determined that gluten was not an issue for

him, but I wanted to try the diet anyway.

I would suggest getting labs for strep titers, called ASO and DNASE, to rule out

PANDAS.

What did you use to get rid of it?

We used Biocidin, probiotics and digestive enzymes high in proteases.

Houston Enzymes AFP Peptizyde. Here is a blip from DeFelice's website on

it:

" Bacteria is composed of proteins. If you are needing to treat a bad bacteria

problem, you might want to add strong proteases, such as Peptizyde. Protease

enzymes tend to have a synergistic effect with antibiotics making the bacteria

control more effective.

Strong proteases can impact bacteria killing them off. While No-Fenol can be

quite helpful with bacteria and colon problems, the die-off from No-Fenol is not

nearly as pronounced as No-Fenol on yeast. No-Fenol contains cellulases which

act on yeast but not bacteria. Yeast is composed of proteins and celluloses

(much more cellulases involved). "

We use Biocidin instead of antibiotics.
