What are you doing to address the oxalates issue? We just had test

results come back showing my son is very high. My son's diet doesn't have a

ton

of high oxalate foods in it and I'm wondering if there is something else we

can look at

Haha! You clearly know your stuff, so I actually started to doubt myself!

There was just a discussion on that oxalate list about vitamin C and

left no doubt about whether it's good for oxalates or not. My son is

definitely doing better now that we are addressing oxalates, and the " dumps "

are

very minor now for him.

When we did our testing, our guy came back the highest our NP had seen in her 37

years of practice!  And he had no symptoms, go figure.  We found out he had

candida and the candida makes lots and lots of oxalic acid as a byproduct.

Soooo, have you checked yeast?  We did Nystatin for about 9 months, did low

oxalates for the same 9 months.  After the yeast was gone, we reintroduced

oxalates with no issues.

I apologize for not following you, but what test did you have done and by which

lab we are really struggling with lots of yeast and doing gfcf and scd diets,

candex, ole, no phenol, nystatin the list goes on and on.

Thanks you such a wealth of information

OH YEAH his yeast markers were through the roof. Didn't realize the 2

could be related. Thanks!

Yup, oxalic acid is one of the by-products of yeast.

Oxalate is a biproduct of yeast and molds like penicillin...does that mean it's

yeast poo? ;) he he he...sorry I'm just delirious from not enough sleep ;)
