Guest guest
Well, I think the yeast and oxalates are very much related. However, yesterday on one of the posts, I believe was questioning how much oxalates are responsible for yeast. I don't know, it's as confusing as every thing else my kid deals with. We take Calcium and Magnesium before each meal, Biotin (to keep yeast from changing forms? and gut issues--and this is just from what I read, so please feel free to correct anything you know to be different), and follow the LOD as much as possible. We are pretty much low/medium with no problems. I also think the Enhansa is helping him dump some of the oxalates as well as helps with yeast. Alot of the others use arginine to help with urinary pain or discomfort, which I don't believe my son has, but he definitely has cloudy urine and sandy stools. Not so much anymore, but clearly they were present before, when he was drinking almond milk four times a day He also has excessive urinating intermittently, which was one thing that alerted me that it may be an issue for him. I pretty much ignored the number on the OAT test, because I was so worried about the yeast, but finally figured out they both needed addressing. does say the good thing about the diet is that it's not a forever diet! Yeah, I'll say! It's not a fun one for a three year old. > > OH YEAH his yeast markers were through the roof. Didn't realize the 2 > could be related.
