will problbly flatten out when my bulk falls down on it. Money is tight as

Schroog . So anyway, planning to sleep on floor and wishing I make it off the

floor next morning. Bringing peanut butter too. Ha. Seriously. I am doing

all I can to make SBOG and DC rallys. I am so excited I can hardly stand it!

I would like to challenge and encourage members of the group to step and try

to make difference. As I watched the events of September 11th unfold on the

TV screen with a sense of helplessness, I struggled with what I could

possibly that might help. By Wednesday morning I had resolved that I wanted

to do something that would help pull my community together...With one phone

call, the wheels were set in motion to hold a community wide memorial

service. There were those that said " ...it can't be done by this Sunday. "

I stand in total AWE to the community response ...I have received calls from

several radio stations, local television, newspapers, Veteran groups, the

Police and Fire Departments, the schools throughout the county, the

ministerial association, the florist, Red Cross, the banks... the list goes

on. I do not take credit for how effortlessly this event is coming

together.... 'His' burden is light!... All I can say once again is how

awed I am by generousity of the human spirit. I challenge you to step out

in faith. For in spite of our PA limitations at times, we can do more than

we possibly think we are able. My husband went to one of our local banks

and asked how we could possible start a fund for people to contribute to...

The bank established the " 9-11 American Relief Fund " ....People were writing

out checks as the bank was setting it up. People want to help! Sometimes

they just need others to initiate things! Could that someone be you?!

Keep the Faith!

Commissioner Stacks Deck with Special Interests ³No Consumer

Participation²

San , Texas, January 16, 2002 - Insurance

commissioner

Montemayor appointed a Task Force of insurance industry

representatives,

bankers, builders, contractors and adjusters to assist in

developing ³best

practices² for handling and processing claims for water and

mold damage. As

a token jester he appointed Consumers Union and Texas Watch,

two well-known

consumer organizations that deal with a broad spectrum of

consumer issues

but failed to appoint anyone from the hundreds of consumers

who volunteered

to give of their time. ³It is ludicrous to appoint a task

force to deal

with this states biggest, most important consumer issue

without actual

consumer participation. What is needed are consumers that

have actually

dealt with the problems, gone through the horrors of mold

contamination,

disruption of family life for year and have seen first hand

the pitfalls of

dealing with health issues and insurance claims,² said Janet

Ahmad,

president of HomeOwners for Better Building.

³The biggest question is, why the appointment of Citizens

Against Lawsuit

Abuse with ties to special interests, whose sole purpose is

to limit

consumer redress and access to the courts. What have they

done for the

consumer? What useful purpose could be served by their

participation,

unless Montemayor¹s intentions are not in the best interest

of the consumer

but for the protection of the insurance industry from

responsibility and

liability,² asks Ahmad.

Montemayor recently initiates an investigation because ³his

office has

received numerous complaints from homeowners throughout

Texas on the

OEexorbitant rate hikes¹ on policies sold by Farmers

Insurance Group and

Allstate Insurance Co.,² simultaneously Montemayor appointed

both to the new

Task Force. ³There are hundreds of insurance companies in

the state, why

would he appoint Farmers Insurance, whose track record

speaks for itself

Farmers is the very company who started the national media

frenzy last year

when they lost a $32 million dollar lawsuit for bad faith

and fraud in the

handling of a mold claim?²

³The system is broken and the causes of this ³Mold and

Health Crisis² are

not being addressed. Unfortunately, it is obvious

Montemayor¹s recent

decisions are not in the best interest of the consumer.

The commissioner

should immediately appoint consumers with real life

experience,² said Ahmad.

Hi Jim,

I looked this up in the Lifepak 300 manual and verified it on our unit. If

you want, I can fax you a copy of the setup flowchart.

Step 1 Enter Setup Mode

Press and hold [MANUAL] & [PRINTER] (or [EVENT]) buttons while turning unit

on. Maintain pressure on these buttons until Setup screen displays.

Step 2 Select parameter

Use [sELECT] button (next to screen) to scroll through menu. Press [CHANGE]

button to enter edit mode

Step 3 Edit Parameter

Use [sELECT] button (next to screen) to scroll through parameter fields.

Press [CHANGE] button to enter edit parameter fields (the unit will step

through each value sequensially).

Step 4 Confirm Change

When you have completed editing all relevant fields, press [FINNISHED]

button to return to main menu.

Step 5 Next operation

Either select another parameter as per Step 1 or press the [EXIT SETUP]

button to return to normal operations mode.

With compliments

Shaun Ross
