Guest guest
I just purchased Biotin in an attempt to get control of my sons yeast. He is 4 yo and approx 47 lbs. I have a couple of questions for everyone. 1)The dosage of the purchased bottle of Biotin is 5000 mcg per capsule. Given my sons weight and age how many capsules should he receive in a day? I am currently giving him 1 a day. 2)Should this be given on an empty stomach? 3)Can I give it with Kirkmans Yeast Aid? This yeast attack was caused by my aggressive OLE treatment for a nasty lingering stomach virus. It stirred up some crazy yeast!!! He could open a bakery - Hee-Hee! Got to find humor somewhere... 4)I would like to resart the OLE extract. Can Biotin and Yeast Aid be given with OLE or should they be seperated. Thanks for your help... I am currently giving him 1 a day. Is he doing okay with that much? Most kids need 5-10mg, so 5000mcg would be 5mg. But, giving too much can cause a headache. > 2)Should this be given on an empty stomach? It doesn't matter. > 3)Can I give it with Kirkmans Yeast Aid? Not a problem. > This yeast attack was caused by my aggressive OLE treatment for a nasty > lingering stomach virus. It stirred up some crazy yeast!!! Yes, OLE will address viruses, and viral die off will cause yeast. This means you need to keep the OLE to keep addressing the viruses. > 4)I would like to resart the OLE extract.
