Another cause of red ears, dark circles, and behavior issues is foods

high in phenols. Here is my information on that.

What about the additives and preservatives added to the brand that they

used?

Subject: Red Ears

Hi all,

My son had his first infusion on Thursday the 27th of sept. He didn't show

much reaction thankfully otherthan some flushing and mild fever taken care

of by Motrin.

However by Sunday he started geting red hot ears in the evenings. He said to

me they were hot & burning. My son is on the spectrum & showd this symtom of

red years many years ago but since this symtom had gone away.

I had heard that this can be caused by colors & dyes in foods. he really has

a very additive free diet, so I looked at foods with natuaral colors. I wa

putting red peppers in his pasta every day. So I discontinued it & that went

away.

Howver last night he had a bath & came out with very hot & red ears again. I

applied ice to help, he then said his face was hot & I applied ice all over

his face.

Can IVIG cause this reaction & if so what does it mean, I imagine it's high

histamine but why should that happen after IVIG ?

Any advice is welcome.

Thank you

Nandini
