Guest guest
THERE ARE STILL ONLY 399 SIGNATURES ON THIS PETITION...........there are certainly alot more out there...if you know someone who has MCS please support them......... DMREILLY Dear MCS Activist, I am not much for petitions but was impressed by the sponsorship of this one, coming from the " MCS " Beacon of Hope at: www.ncchem.com/mcsbeacon The petition concerns recognition of MCS by the White House through proclamation of an awareness and education month (May). The petition can be read at the following URLs. Petition for U.S. Citizens: http://www.PetitionOnline.com/31032/petition.html Petition for Non U.S. Citizens: http://www.petitiononline.com/10862/petition.html I was signatory #36 and the list has grown to over 350 names so far. Read it and decide if you wish to add yours. You can sign with or without making a comment. My comment was as follows: Sir; This problem has been estimated in two seperate studies to affect approximately 16% of the population or millions of your constituents. It is a preventable ailment and some potential victims even have certain biomarkers which can be identified if physicians can be educated in the basic toxicology omitted from most medical school curriculums. Dealing with this ailment can be a spur to new industry and development of safeguards for existing industry. All citizens can benefit from the lessons to be learned and persons like myself can continue to contribute to the GNP instead of becoming a burden upon society as I have at the age of 45. Please act and save lives. Thank you. Barbara Rubin, Locust Valley, N.Y.
