Guest guest
Bonnie: I belong to another group called Trying_Low_Oxalates/ .....the files section in this group talks about the benefits of this diet.....Here is another website that talks about what oxalates do and their effect on the body.... http://lowoxalate.info/..... The best approach that I have found was to remove the high oxalate foods out of the diet and watch for reactions....like excessive urination, bruises, rashes....it only took my kids a few days to have a huge tantrum and experience withdrawl.... Though most of it seems to be directed to autistic kids, there is some info for adults. I was interested because of the connection to joint pain. sol Bonnie Cole wrote: > How would anyone know if they had an Oxalic problem? Guest guest
Sorry, mis-interpret it with the dietary supplements and you meant " Autism supplement " , huge difference indeed. Just one of those modes you could say I am on. Irma

Guest guest
> > Hello Bee, I know that it says your supposed to take niacin two times a day at 50mg...is that the most that I should take in a day? ++Hi Keri. Some people are increasing their niacin to help eliminate more toxins and radiation, but it isn't necessary. This program will do it anyway. +++The highest dose should be 400 mg per day (taken in split doses) - if more is taken all other supplements must be increased as well, which we do not want to get into. Taking more than 100 mg of niacin per day doesn't speed up the healing process anyway. Also I wanted to tell you what Im taking so you can look over it and make sure im taking it at the right times and such. > > In the morning I take > > vitamin C-2,000 mg > vitamin e-400 iu > niacin-25 mg ( im working my way up) > Yeast Flakes-1 1/2 tablespoons in water > > In the evening I take > > vitamin c-2,000 mg > niacin-25 mg > Do I take the yeat flakes again? +++Those are good, except you need 2 tbls. of yeast flakes per day, take 1 tbls. 2 times a day. > > And also through the day I incorporate cod liver oil and coconut oil and sea salt. +++You also need to take calcium and magnesium. Thank you for helping me bee! Can I take magnesium and calcium together or should they be two separate things? And are these in a pill form? Thanks again! For details about calcium and magnesium doses, description, etc., which are taken at the same time, and with meals, see the 1st two articles here: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/menu2_4_3.php Bee
Guest guest
My posts are taking like half a day to show up, incase anyone is wondering why my responses are at odd parts of the conversation. you are working hard too. I am so glad that supplement has helped your family. I did look at the supplement and it has alot of stuff in it that I know would cause my son to have seizures. I have heard that just ala could heal leaky gut too. Anyhow, I just wanted to say congrats on your success with your family, it is nice to hear. jo > > I wanted the group to know that a supplement called GI Revive by Designs for Health has been really helpful to my family for healing leaky gut. The capsules are big so it's only helpful if you and your kids can swallow capsules but my 5 year old managed it without much trouble. Stool analysis and food sensitivity testing show that his gut is almost completely healed! I'm not giving all the credit to this supplement; I still think that the GAPS diet, Bio-Kult and Green Pastures cod liver oil and butter oil were essential but GI Revive seemed to help a lot as well. > > >
Guest guest
GI Revive also comes as a powder. I have also used Tract Heal (a liquid ordered online). These, along with careful diet, allow and encourage the gut lining to heal. I believe that pineapple juice helped my repair process as well.I know they say that the lining is replaced every four or five days, but if the nutrients to heal the lining are not absorbed then gut rebuilding is impaired. I have had to continue HCI and digestive enzymes too.
