It actually sound slike swine flu. Don't panick, it's not a big deal. Tons of

the kids around my neighborhood and schools got it this year. After his fever

goes away completey without coming around in the evening... it usually comes

back a few days later for another 3-5 days. My daughter's bff actually had it

come back three times! It's nasty and miserable , but not the huge killer

illnesses that it was played out to be. Just keep an eye on the fever, if it

goes over 103 he should be seen. If the cough just won't go away, he should

probably be seen. As far as biomed goes I'm not sure how Mucinex fits in...but

Mucinex DM kicks butt on those horrible coughs.

Thanks for the reply. His cough and stuffy nose though has been gone since last

sunday. If it is swine flu wouldn't someone else in the house get it or is it

not as contagious as the regular flu? My husband and I both feel fine and my 2

year old daughter seems to be perfectly healthy as well. I called the school

that week he was sick and they haven't heard of anything going around the

school, nor has there been any other absences from my sons preschool class but

for him. He woke up again today like the last 3 days feeling fine and full of

energy with no fever, will wait and see if it comes back again this afternoon.
