OT: Apparent sudden onset of earwax: cause?

Hi,

Just after our daughter went to bed this evening, she said one of her ears hurt

and she needed us to clean it out for her. Sure enough, when we looked there was

a fair amount of dark, wet-looking wax in that one and the other wasn't exactly

clear. & nbsp;We uses a peroxide solution on each of them, and it really bubbled

in the one ear.

My guess, as with so many other things with our kids, is a food reaction, but

not sure to what specifically.

What are others' experiences with wax?
