HCL/Pepsin, Is it harmful to teeth?

I want to start giving my 3 year old son HCL w/ Pepsin with meals but I am

concerned about it's effects on his teeth. He cannot swallow these BIG capsules

so I would have to empty them into his food. I read someone caution about its

effects on teeth and I wonder what everyone knows about this or what suggestions

you have. Thanks
