Guest guest
I was wondering if those with highschool age or older kids were working with them on finances? This seems to be a hard one for my dd to " get " and work with; though she is showing improvement. I believe it is because it is BORING. I am having her be responsible for her two week allowance at college, and I've tried to get her to let me put in 4 months worth so she can really try watching it, but she told me she is not ready (age 21!!). I am very concerned with this due to my brother-in-law's total ignoring of any incoming bills or even paychecks, he is 55 now. We only found this out since he had a stroke, he is asperger's. Lives alone, had a job as computer engineer. He's the one who almost lost his home while having all along enough and more to pay the home off!!! We've also gone over household income and out-go several times with her. Just slowgoing I guess! Jo
