I am no expert but i was told to give my children garlic oil drops in

ears and it worked well and fast. It was very obvious when infection

was gone. I also gave them vitamin c during this time.

I don't think you can tell if the infection is worsening other than with the use

of muscle testing and even then I don't think it tells you that it's worse, just

that there is some inappropriate activity in the ear.

When my son had an ear infection, he was given Vitamin A, colloidal silver and

an herbal earache preparation along with garlic drops in the ears. Cleared it

right up within a week.

,

When my son was a baby we had horrible problems with ear infections

and we'd take him to the doctor and they'd give us an antibiotic and

than it would just come back. The last time he had an infection they

cave us 2 different antibiotics and nothing took it completely away so

we went in for a 3rd time and they gave us another prescription which

we never gave him. I was getting very concerned with how it seemed

every time they'd give us a stronger antibiotic. So I did a ton of

research on it and read to put tea tree oil drops in his ear, we did

this and with in a few days it was cleared up and he hasn't had one

since. So I swear by the Tea Tree Oil now! Good luck, I hate ear

infections!!

It is probably a reaction to the SUGAR. Sugar lower's the immune response 80% after injesting just 2 teaspoons. While her immune isystem has been compromised by the sugar, dormant stuff in her body can come out or if she is around others who are sick catch something. Try some warm garlic oil in her ear. Hold it in there 4--10 minutes, then drain it out. Chop up a clove or two of raw garlic and gently warm it in 1/4 cup of oil(keep the temp under 115 degrees. You could just chop up some garlic and put it into the sun in some oil(if you have the time) or the car.Up taking cod liver oil also.Eating more garlic , and onion is helpful too,

Hope this helps

Hello everyone,I was wondering what your opinion on this would be.My daughter just got an ear infection out of the blue. She did NOThave a cold or anything first. The only thing that she did have wasa little bit of raw milk ice cream with maple syrup. We have been doingalright on fermented milk, but on Sunday I let us cheat with about acup of that delicious homemade ice cream. Do any of you think that itcouldbe a reaction from fresh cream? It's a strange ear infection. She had it for about 2 days before Irealized she even had it. She doesn't have a runny nose, orcongestion. She's been VERY tired, her tummy hurts periodically (butshe hasn't thrown up, she had a mild fever for a while, and she has afew tiny bumps behind her ear. (I guess they're tiny swollen nodes). Iam trying homeopathy, the warm onion remedy, and vitamin C. She seems to FEEL alittle better so far, but now the skin all

around her ear is red. Howlong does one give it to heal on it's own before resorting to antibiotics?I'm not asking medical advice. I just want to know if anyone have anyopinions? Thanks so much,Therese

Therese,

How did you know she has an ear infection? Had you been swimming or

anything? (Thinking maybe swimmer's ear.) The redness sounds like it

could be some cellulitis developing-particularly if it is warm or sore

in that area. You might look into using some calendula or goldenseal

as well as your homeopathic and other remedies. Watch her closely,

you'll know if she gets really sick and needs further attention. I

assume she is on probiotics with the GAPS diet?
