Guest guest
Dear Kim, When I was having surgeries 2000-2002, we lived in unincorperated Aurora, and while we lived there it was made into a new city, Centennial. I now live in Colorado Springs, and boy this year was truly snowy for us, three major blizzards. March is usually our snowiest month, but no snow so far, rain which we usually only get in the summer. I do miss the Denver metro area, more to do, and my oldest daughter is there with the Granddaughter, and the 80 miles between us is too far for my liking. I meet her half way every two weeks in Castle Rock and exchange Londynn ( she's now two) and I keep her for four days, I want her to know us even though we aren't close in distance. My ideal life would include us being in Denver, but the hubby's job is here and the commute he did for two years was hard on him, and eating us alive in gasoline and car repairs. Colorado Springs while beautiful isn't my cup of tea, and I also dream of going back to Oregon someday, we moved to Colorado seven years ago from Ashland Oregon, and we still miss it. Isn't it funny what a small world it is when you speak to people online, everyone moves so much that most of us have many cities and states in our past. I'm glad you made it home safe, and now you have a lot to ponder about surgery. At least surgery if you decide to do it would be in the summer, no snow then, YEAH!! Colorado Springs [ ] Dr Hu appt-Kim> > > Dear All-> > Thanks for the support, its funny how snow is always assoc w/ my Dr. appt.(my return from > UCDMC 2/27 was also thru a snowstorm) :~)the storm definitely created "conversation time" > so many questions, I think I'll write them as they come, taking my time.. there's no rush, I > keep reminding myself to trust the process, my condition is not> life threatening :~). I return this week-end to SF for a parents week-end @ USF, thinking of > maybe an appt w/ Dr. Hu's nurse on Mon (if available). We met w/ the other Docs nurse, Dr. > Hu's nurse was out of the country, eventually I'll have to meet w/ her anyway. Yes, I can also > e-mail my concerns. I just need to get collected. > Again, I'm grateful for having the resource of this group. > take care all> Kim>

I guess it will be a very long day for me with no sleep and to make matters even worse it's snowing out. > Are you supposed to get snow too in your area? It's starting to look more and more like Christmas isn't it? > > Take care and be well. Hi Maddalena. It's good to hear from you. I'm sorry you couldn't sleep. I went to bed early, so I'm up early. LOL! I hope you make it through your day okay. I'll be thinking of you and sending you some healing vibes. Yes, we got a lot of snow a couple days ago, so I haven't gone out. We are also supposed to get more this evening. It is starting to look more and more like Christmas, which I love! You take very good care my dear. Love and Hugs, Bee
