Hi Parents!

I am emailing to let you know about a great opportunity to earn up to $200 by participating in a research study at UCLA and UC Riverside.

·       Families can earn up to $200!

·       We are looking for adolescents with and without developmental disabilities (autism spectrum disorders, intellectual disabilities) who are 12 or 13 years old.

·       ONLY two 2 ½ hour visits to UCLA (or UCR) are required per family (one when the child is 13 and one when he/she is 15 years old)

·       Parking is free!

·       Snacks will be provided!

Our study focuses on families of children with and without developmental disabilities and we are interested in the family processes that occur as children enter adolescence. Our study’s  investigators,  Dr. Bruce L. Baker at UCLA and Dr. Jan Blacher at UC Riverside, have been conducting this study for the past 10 years, and they  just received continuation funding from the National Institute of Health that will allow them to include a new group of families who have adolescent children.

If you would like to learn more about the study, please contact us directly at 310-825-9592 and ask for Sandee Orozco OR visit our website at https://sites.google.com/site/thecollaborativefamilystudy/home.
