Guest guest
for that, you may need to see a good homeopath and see how they can help you address the parasites problem (if it is parasites). Or if there is anything over the counter. I have read good things about black walnut. Dana
Guest guest
Has anyone successfully reduced or eliminated night-time teeth grinding? My 7 1/2 year old son just began doing this a couple of months ago, and I can already see some damage beginning. He is non-verbal, so can't tell me if he is under stress, but does not appear to be any less happy than he always is. He has reflux but we are treating is pretty successfully with prevacid. We tried an enzyme and that is when we first noticed the griding, so we took him off but it continues, so the enzyme may not be to blame. He is gfcf and on a probiotic. Any help or recommendations would be really appreciated! Thanks, Janet
Guest guest
For my son, it was yeast. In fact, I find that when I drink wine (rather yeasty), my mouth gets itchy. Not the skin, but sorta down in the teeth. I could see a kid grinding to get rid of that feeling! Guest guest
300-400mg of magnesium daily completely eliminated severe teeth grinding here. We use Kirkman Magnesium Glycinate. Guest guest
teeth grinding in our house was ALWAYS excessive yeast for us, and the enzyme will have some die-off to yeast, but normally alot of kids on the spectrum have major digestive issues and lost of yeast problems, but when the teeth grinding starts, normally the hyperactivity raises as well. And we know to raise the yeast protocol.... teeth grinding > Has anyone successfully reduced or eliminated night-time teeth grinding? > My 7 1/2 year old son just began doing this a couple of months ago, and I > can already see some damage beginning. Guest guest
> I noticed last month that our 4 1/2 year old daughter is grinding her teeth while sleeping. At my house, this was caused by mineral deficiency [usually calcium, magnesium, or zinc, depending on the child] and yeast overgrowth. Even though increasing B vitamins to 200 mg has been recommended, I don't think it is a good idea. > > I visited the osteopath 2days ago and he did a manipulation for the jaw, which I have been massaging also. In the past prior to your program and falling pregnant with my daughter I was addicted to amphetamines and recreational drugs and am thinking I could be retracing some of the jaw clenching from that. I know you do not recommend the use any guards but I am so concerned about saving the teeth that I have left. Please I need some help and solutions to support myself through this without ruining the rest of my teeth. +++Since you've had teeth grinding in the past your body is definitely retracing it now, so this too shall pass. It won't take as much time to retrace it since healing is 1 month for every year. +++If you must use guards in the meantime, do. All the best, Bee
