Guest guest
I have bought from ProteinFactory.com a few times. The service has been good. I like the fact that they can make custom blends for you with the different protein powders and supplements and usually their prices are pretty good. I haven't tried the hemp products. The last time I ordered egg white protein powder I decided to try a different source to get a egg white protein powder that has had the Avidin neutralized and to get a better price. Avidin is a glycoprotein found in egg whites that binds with and depletes the level of Biotin (also known as Vitamin H) in the body. http://www.keysupplements.com/products/985.htm I would not recommend whole egg powder or egg yolk powder because of a problem with the cholesterol becoming oxidized and producing some very unhealthy products as a result of the manufacturing process. Oxidized cholesterol is believed to be a major factor in heart disease. Powdered milk also has the same problem. Someone else pointed this out to me when I first noticed ProteinFactory.com had added the organic whole egg powder to their product line over a year ago. The article they pointed me to on the Internet was a good report of the problem. Guest guest
I like Bioplex Simply Whites Egg White Powder. I think it has the Avidin neutralized somehow, but it mainly dissolves very easily. I've bought it at Whole Foods, but it's much cheaper at www.bodybuilding.com. The natural doesn't have any added junk. > > whoah... i'm like: hey dudez! > > > > check this out: http://www.proteinfactory.com/store/ > > > > click on individual powders then check out their proteins. also see > the egg powders, and the organic with yolk. also see separated yolk > powder mix. now check out their hemp products! now you can get hemp > oil (fat) AND hemp protein! yum. i never thought of using hemp > protein. i wonder what dr. d's REAL opinion on those fine products > would be? > > -axelO+secretor
Guest guest
I will say the egg white protein powder from ProteinFactory.com dissolved better/quicker/easier then the Bioplex Simply Whites Egg White Powder. The Bioplex powder does dissolve, but it takes longer to do so or requires more action to get it to dissolve. After trying to use it in a shaker a few times with I realized I needed to shake it up and then let it sit for a couple of minutes then shake it again and so it would be dissolved and drinkable. KeySupplements.com has a substantially better price then www.bodybuilding.com for the Bioplex Simply Whites Egg White Powder. Simply Whites 24 g protein per serving 96 cal Protein Factory 24 g protein per serving 120 cal What does Protein Factory add to their egg whites? I didn't see an ingredient list online. Guest guest
I don't know what they add. I noticed it does have 2g of carbs and the Bioplex powder doesn't. One nice thing about ProteinFactory.com is they can add Aminogen to the protein powder you order. Aminogen is a patented natural enzyme system that increases the amino acid pool in the blood stream. A rather unique product because it is the only product with research backing. Guest guest
i just received my new supplements for my daughter: zinc, mag citrate, biotin. my question is: when should i give these? in her morning drink i give her: taurine, tmg, folic acid, 2 drops of GSE, no-phenol, SNT, and cod liver oil. i hate to give her all these at once; she is going to notice the " taste " of her juice is different. can i give the biotin, zinc, and mag mid morning? i give her her digestive enzymes w/ lunch and dinner. from what i've read in past posts: zinc is used for chewing on clothes/stuff?? lately in past week, she soaks her sleeves. she has never done that before. has anyone else experienced this? i ran out of her probiotics, going to order more. i understand, you give this at bedtime away from biotin and gse right? should i still give GSE? sorry about all the questions! thanks a bunch! Guest guest
Give the zinc at bedtime. I give the biotin in the morning, noon and bedtime and I give it with a dose of magnesium. I also give her TMG/folic/mb12 sublingual, Omega 3, no fenol and gse in the morning in fresh juiced pear juice. I give it with a bit of Stevia, it's not SCD legal but I have to give it to her or she won't drink any of the stuff with her supps in it. > > i just received my new supplements for my daughter: zinc, mag citrate, > biotin. > my question is: when should i give these? > in her morning drink i give her: taurine, tmg, folic acid, 2 drops of > GSE, no-phenol, SNT, and cod liver oil. i hate to give her all these > at once; she is going to notice the " taste " of her juice is different. > can i give the biotin, zinc, and mag mid morning? i give her her > digestive enzymes w/ lunch and dinner. > from what i've read in past posts: zinc is used for chewing on > clothes/stuff?? lately in past week, she soaks her sleeves. she has > never done that before. has anyone else experienced this? > i ran out of her probiotics, going to order more. i understand, you > give this at bedtime away from biotin and gse right? should i still > give GSE? > sorry about all the questions! > thanks a bunch! >
