Guest guest
Hi Terry, I saw your post to Kathy (although I think it was Sandy who was looking for the swim diapers!). Thanks for the info. <<Hi Kathy, I think it's Home Delivery Incontinence Systems (HDIS). If you go to a search engine (like ) and put in HDIS...it will come up. You can click on their site and order over the internet or call them directly. Terry>>

You can buy disposables or reusable ones at www.mypoolpal.com Click on the special needs section. They're not cheap though. Guest guest
Thanks, Donna -- You're right, they're not cheap! Maybe I'll buy a package of Little Swimmers first and see if I can squeeze him in them. No loss, if they're too small I can always save them for little sister. And at least the ones from My Pool Pal are reusable. Guest guest
Hi Jenna, I buy a night time pull up (CVS brand)and use them day & night because they are a little more roomy than the name brand, but I wasn't sure if they would hold up in a pool. What do you think? Thanks, Becky > > Hi Becky! Have you tried or thought about trying the goodnight pull ups for bigger kids? Guest guest
Just had a conversation not long ago about this very issue on another listserve. My daughter was born with a chromosome condition and was not completely toileted at 12. None of the marketed brands manufacture sizes large enough to accomodate a youth or adult. I actually inquired directly and was told that the " market wasn't there? " Oh, really?? I happen to work in the rehabilitation field and I can attest that the need IS indeed there! Swimming is great therapy for all types of persons with developmental and medical differences. It was actually incorporated into my daughter's education plan. The alternative was to utilize plastic panties (wow, how comfortable hey? - and - quite humiliating for the individual!) The second alternative would be to take a chance and hope nothing happens! (Bet the general public would not be too fond of that!) Anyhoo, parents in the group speak of a better alternative. I haven't had experience with these myself, but I think this sounds great... Guest guest
Um I am not sure if they are as durable as the lil swimmers pull ups that they use in the pool, but to me I would think they would be as durable since they are for bigger kids. Because to me you would think that bigger kids would wet more in the night time or produce more urine than that of little kids who use regular pull ups at night. I dont know, but i guess its worth a try! Good luck and have an nice trip. Guest guest
The problem with regular poolups is that they are very abosorbant and will expand completely as soon as he enters the pool. This will be very uncomfortable and they probably will not stay up. You might want to check out this website where they have a wide range of sizes available. http://www.mypoolpal.com/products/special-needs.php--- On Sun, 1/17/10, jenna rector <taylor39666@...> wrote: From: jenna rector <taylor39666@...>Subject: Re: ( ) swim diapers Date: Sunday, January 17, 2010, 5:34 PM Um I am not sure if they are as durable as the lil swimmers pull ups that they use in the pool, but to me I would think they would be as durable since they are for bigger kids.
