, see replies below:

Can anyone tell me about these ingredients:Coconut milk (this is on both the recommended AND avoid list): NO TO CANNED COCONUT MILK (BECAUSE OF EMULSIFIERS), YES TO MAKING YOUR OWN, EITHER BY MIXING A GOOD QUALITY COCONUT CREAM WITH WATER, OR BY BLENDING BOILING WATER AND FREEZE-DRIED COCONUT AND THEN STRAINING (I HAVEN'T HAD MUCH LUCK WITH THE LATTER, HOWEVER)Daikon (I THINK RADISHES OF ALL KINDS ARE FINE)maple syrup (NO, ALAS)miso (NO SOY PRODUCTS, ALAS)hemp seeds (OKAY, I THINK, ONCE YOU GET TO THE STAGE WHERE YOU TOLERATE SEEDS AND NUTS)

Hope that helps,

I just found out that Trader Joe's grocery store has canned coconut with nothing

added. Just coconut and water. I think that would be o.k. I know that canned

is not as good as the tetra packs, but Wilderness Family won't be carrying the

tetra packs for at least another couple of months. Anyone have any other ideas

for coconut milk (other than making it from scratch)?

Thanks,

I've found frozen coconut milk at Asian stores that has nothing added.

This is what I've been using although we are not on a strict GAPS or SCD

diet. I don't see why it wouldn't qualify.
