Sheila,

We have put biokult in a neti pot with good results. It shouldn't

sting. If you don't add salt (about 1 tsp per pint water) and baking

soda (1/4 tsp) then the water itself will sting because it is not

buffered and salted like our tissues. I did this with outr 6 year old

with no complaints. After a few days she blew egg-yolk yellow snot

(sorry for the graphic details) for a few days, and then everything

cleared. She has not had sinus trouble since, and that was a few months

ago now.
