Intro diet

I wondering if people in the group could share their experience with the Intro

diet. I never did it with my family because we didn't seem to have severe gut

problems but now I see that we are all still having issues with yeast overgrowth

so I'd like to do the intro diet as a cleanse to reduce yeast levels and then

continue on with the GAPS diet. For those of you who did it with your children,

how long was the first stage? Did you keep them home from school?

I was just reading yesterday that if you are starting Intro with your

whole family, the mom should do it first so that when you get die off,

not everyone is weak and going through it at the same time. Or you

could just do the kids first, either way. I haven't done it yet, but I

know a family going through it right now and the mom is having to stay

really strong because everyone in her house is vomitting or has a

fever. So it'd be smart to stagger this.

I did it before my kids and was sooo glad I did. I had a strong reaction and was “down” for more than a week…by the time they started a few weeks later I felt stronger. Fabrywww.moldrecovery.blogspot.com

Initially I felt better…we had been detoxing for quite awhile (15 months) so my body was over some of the big hurdles I think. Several weeks into the diet I had a major die-off response that lasted a good week. From what I understand if there is no diarrhea it is good to move on.
