FRUSTRATIONS WITH

Dear Friends and Listmates:

Twice over the last 45 days, I have been mysteriously

BOUNCED from receiving any mail from the -related

listservs to which I have been subscribed. The first time,

it took me more than a week to realize what was happening,

because it occurred over the Holidays, and I rationalized

that fewer messages were being sent. It took my computer

guru (my husband Mel) almost 5 days to get me reinstated in

all the groups. The error appeared to have been caused by a

corruption of my email address. (My address has not changed

in 2 1/2 years; the problem was created by .) I know

that I lost a great many very important emails due to this

problem.

Well, unbelievably, the same kind of BOUNCING problem reared

its ugly head again, yesterday. Again, my husband tried to

make the required adjustments, but his efforts have paid off

only with 5 of the 16 listservs to which I belong.

I find it infruriating that there is not a phone number

where one can go to for Group support. More often

than not, our emails (at the page) go

unanswered; and often too, the responses are canned and

generic.

DO ANY OF YOU KNOW HOW TO CONTACT in a more

direct fashion? Have any of you experienced a similar

problem? Have any of you succeeded in solving this problem

permanently?

I very much dislike feeling that my ability to access your

invaluable information is capriciously controlled by

Groups.
