Guest guest
Have you tried the SAM I suggested? Also, are you getting your essential fatty acids? Lack of them can really make you depressed. I think it was Tom that suggested gettting your thyroid checked. Your symptoms do suggest a sluggish thyroid. How's your morning body temp? Guest guest
Why are you eating so little? Eat 20% protein like turkey with 80% veggies. If you are able, eat a WIDE variety of veggies. Lettuce and spinach do not provide everything you need vitamin-wise. Can you eat grains? I also agree with Pamela on the fatty acids. I take 1-2 tbsps per day of Barleans Cold pressed flax oil. You could also eat ground flax seeds or eat salmon to get fatty acids. I went on the Body Ecology Diet and it really worked for me. See my other posting about it. There is a book but you can follow the basics without having to buy the book...e-mail me if you want more info. I can type out some notes. Guest guest
I started my son on Mito cocktail. At first his bumpy skin stated disappearing as well as his cracked lips. His stools also became better. After a while the bumps have come back. I thought it may be an underlying yeast issue so we started GSE, OLE, Biotin and Candex, This gave my son about a week of good stools with some black flecks. He has been on this for 3 weeks and the bumps are still there and now his stools have become mustard colours very smelly and soft. I feel like I should be a bit more aggressive with the treatments. I just don't understand why the improvements disappear after a while.
Guest guest
Hi Ina, Bee explained what is going on with you but I also wanted to remind you that I had warned you that garlic and onions contain a lot of sulfur and are considered to be " anti-fungal. " They WILL contribute to your detox symptoms. You might consider cutting back on how much of them you eat. You can also safely eat other low carb veggies that are part of the " approved " food list. Guest guest
I think I detoxify through my mouth too, cause there are mornings when I have a yellow coating at the base of my tongue. For many years I've had a white coating on my tongue in the morning, which I thought was related to bile/liver. I'll try the hydrogen peroxide solution as a spray. If I apply it like that I should be careful not to bleach my eyebrows, even if diluted with water? And should I let it dry on my skin or wipe it with a cotton pad after a while? What can you say about Rose Hip seed oil, which is supposed to be good for scarring? I'm guessing it should not contain sugar, right? You're recommending Rosehips in vit C so maybe it's good for the skin too. " It is unique among vegetable oils in containing retinol (Vitamin A), and is also high in vitamin C. Rose hip seed oil is high in the essential fatty acids - linoleic acid or omega-6, and linolenic acid or omega-3. It is commonly used in skin care products. It is used for a variety of skin conditions, including dermatitis, acne and eczema, for mature and sun burnt skin as well as brittle nails and wrinkles. Rose hip oil is also frequently used to heal scarring and diminish photo-aging. " [from wikipedia]. > +++My body was different, since I detoxified mostly through my stomach, my mouth and my vagina. Also at one point during my candida program I detoxified through my eyes for 3 months. > > > +++Hydrogen peroxide is very healing because it is oxgenating. One of our members reported using the spray on her skin which greatly improved it. But it won't necessarily speed up healing since most healing comes from within with mainly " proper nutrients. " I can't say it reduces scarring. If scars are going to lessen it would come from within too. > > All the best, Bee >

For many years I've had a white coating on my tongue in the morning, which I thought was related to bile/liver. +++Hi Ina. There are many toxins we have gotten in our mouths that have to come out, including fluoride, chemicals in mouth washes, toothpaste, breath mints, lip balms, lipstick, etc. that contained chemicals and fluoride. Also fluoride treatments by the dentist, and novacaine (which makes the gums and face become numb when they come out). My brother thought he was having a stroke when one side of his face, gums, nose, mouth, etc. went numb, but instead it was novacaine being released. > > I'll try the hydrogen peroxide solution as a spray. You can let it dry for awhile and if your skin is still wet, wipe it. > > What can you say about Rose Hip seed oil, which is supposed to be good for scarring? Instead apply ascorbic acid crystals (vitamin C) mixed in water on your skin. +++But again healing comes from within so treatments aren't necessarily going to cure or help, but they won't do you any harm either. Guest guest
Bee, may I ask why you don't recommend Rose Hip seed oil? (it is cold pressed). From the description, it is high in retinol and vitamin C, so looks like a perfect combination of cod liver oil and vit C for the face! Maybe it's better to make my own combination using cod liver oil and ascorbic acid crystals? > > +++Don't use the Rose Hip seed oil. Guest guest
Oh, and I found hydrogen peroxide 10%. Even if diluted 50-50 with water I still can't use it on my face? Will it be too damaging/powerful?

Add more water than H202 if you use 10% - I can't think of what that ratio would be this morning; 10% is more than 3 times as strong as 3%. Guest guest
I don't think a 50-50 mixture of 10% hydrogen peroxide would be dangerous, but that is a fairly high concentration. I'd try a 3:1 or 4:1 of distilled water:H2O2. Zack On Thu, Apr 1, 2010 at 7:05 AM, Bee <beeisbuzzing2003@...> wrote: > > > > > > > Oh, and I found hydrogen peroxide 10%. Guest guest
Ok, I'll do the math for the correct ratio Bee, I have some other questions regarding supplements. I bought Calcium and Magnesium both from NOW in powdered form and I was wondering if I can mix them and then dilute them to take both at once. Does the liquid for dilution matter? I have to tweak the amounts of Calcium/Magnesium powder I use as per directions on the bottle, so what is better? To use less or more if I don't adjust the right amounts? If I have 2 meals a day this means I can take Vit C 2,000mg twice a day? And please reconsider my above question on rose hip seed oil (message #88041). Thanks Ina. > > > > +++Hi Ina. Zack responded to your message with the approximate ratios, so look for his message too. > > Bee, I have some other questions regarding supplements. No, it's okay whatever amount of liquid you want to have with it. > > I have to tweak the amounts of Calcium/Magnesium powder I use as per directions on the bottle, so what is better? Splitting up doses lessens the possibility, or starting with smaller amounts and gradually increasing them. > > And please reconsider my above question on rose hip seed oil (message #88041). +++There is no need to use Rose Hip Seed Oil, so why bother.
