Is Almond flour easy to find...ex. health stores, or is it something you have to order online? Any recommendations?

My concern is that they probably don't soak the almonds before grinding them.

I bet you have to make your own, if you're a WAPF sort.

Is there a good online place to order almonds? Or is it also common to be sold in health stores? I haven't ever checked my local health store for almonds before, but I will venture out today and check.

Kandee,ALmond flour is very easy to make. Soak and dry the almonds and then store in the freezer. When you need some, just grind them to flour in a food processor. I wouldn't buy store almond flour as nuts go rancid very easily, especially once they are ground.Kandee Edge wrote:

I lost my on line source for really raw (non irradiated or steamed) almonds, and am hoping someone else knows of the source.  Seems like it was Really Raw Nuts, or something like that, but when I googled it I came up with nothing.  I am hoping they were not forced to close down.MaureenIs there a good online place to order almonds?  Or is it also common to be sold in health stores?  I haven't ever checked my local health store for almonds before, but I will venture out today and check.   KandeeMom to Hannah, Grace and                  Re: [ ] almond flourKandee,ALmond flour is very easy to make.  Soak and dry the almonds and then store in the freezer.  When you need some, just grind them to flour in a food processor.  I wouldn't buy store almond flour as nuts go rancid very easily, especially once they are ground.Kandee Edge wrote:Is Almond flour easy to find...ex. health stores, or is it something you have to order online?  Any recommendations? KandeeMom to Hannah, Grace and

Hi there. What is your name? Almond meal/flour is not okay for anyone to

consume, let alone candida sufferers. The reason is because the almonds are

" not " soaked and dried prior to grinding them into flour.

You can make your own. However it is too easy to get too many carbs/sugars from

foods that use flour of any kind, so I don't recommend it.

People who are trying hard to find a way to make bread are still addicted to

starches and sugars, so it is better if you don't pursue it.

Here's some help for cravings:
