Melatonin didn't work for him, gave him night terrors after a week on it. Eliminating food allergies and helping PST deficiencies helped with sleep. Yeast also increases the phenolic load in the gut which can contribute to lack of sleep. Joanne www.healingautismandadhd.wordpress.com > > It's the sleep problem again... My son is waking up at 2am ready to go. Sometimes he'll snuggle for a while, but then he wants to get up. He stays up for 3 or 4 hours and then zonks out. I give him melatonin at 9pm - usually 1.5mg, but sometimes 3 (if I forget to only give him half the capsule). I could step up the yeast protocol a bit, but he's on a LOT of it already. I'm at a loss, and damn it, but we need sleep. > Ideas? >
