Guest guest
Hi Listmates, I just got my son's latest IgG food allergy test results back - depressing results - he has 4+ for egg white, 3+ for egg yolk, 3+ for cows' milk, and other food to avoid includes beef (2+), lamb (2+), pork (1+) and chicken and duck are to be rotated. This really depresses me because his last IgG done in June did not show reaction to lamb, beef or chicken or cow's milk; and his reactions to egg was not so high. I suspect the increased reaction to cow's milk and egg could be the recent introduction of transfer factor (which contains transfer factor extracted from egg and cow's colostrum) to his supplements regime. I have changed my son to the egg free version of the transfer factor but on seeing these allergy results, I am not sure whether it is a good idea to keep him on them. This is such a shame, because I was hoping that the tranfer factor would help to boost his immune system. As for the allergy to beef, I am suspecting whether it has anything to do with the recent introduction of adrenal support extracted from bovine source. Does anyone have any input on this? ARe there any non-bovine or non-animal based adrenal support supps out there? Any input would be hugely appreciated. I am really pulling out my hair now as to what meat to give him............. Thanks a zillion.
